Quintessential Copenhagen: Fido on a shopping trip

This was a new one for me. It is common to leave Fido on his leash outside of the bakery. But this guy was parked right in front of the main entrance of Illum, an upscale department store on the Strøget. And no, he wasn’t on a leash. Clearly, he had been left to wait for his owner’s return and he was doing just that.

Moments after I took these photos, he rolled over and had his belly scratched by some people strolling by. The sacrifices men make while women shop! Great life if you can get it…
