Quintessential Copenhagen, Cobblestone streets

Back in Copenhagen after a few week in North America. I haven’t had the time to finish up a second post on the topic of public transit but here is a photo I shot of workers laying a cobblestone street (actually re-laying sections after major construction), something that few North American’s will ever have the opportunity of seeing. It is very interesting to see the artistic and engineering skills required in laying the street. But what was most fascinating was that when they were done, it was impossible to distinguish where the repairs had occured!
